Introducing the Dior Fall/Winter 2019 Runway Bag Collection. Maria Grazia Chiuri's latest collection for Dior takes its inspiration from Teddy Girls, the female version of the Teddy Boys, a part of British subculture wherein young men wore styles from the Edwardian period.
With the new collection, ready-to-wear items were presented with Edwardian-style jackets, skirts, leather jackets and jeans. Plaids were very much used this season, which were also presented in the Book Tote, Messenger and a new casual tote bag. The Dior Oblique canvas is now made available in a denim material which is seen in the Book Tote and Saddle. Black flap bags appeared in the runway, with different shapes and types of leather including crocodile, patent, embossed and woven. The flap features the CD logo in gold and black.
