This season Virginie Viard presented the Chanel Fall Winter 2021 Runway collection in a small and intimate setting, inside the nightclub Chez Castel. Normally Chanel would present a grandiose show at the Grand Palais; however, this year it's closed for renovations. The collection itself featured plenty of repeats, which seems to be a trend for Viard for recycling pieces that were hits in the last season.
Shearling bags appeared again this season as the theme included Chalet chic and Apres Ski attire. A Chevron Flap with Fur Embellished material appeared along with an even furrier drawstring bag. Mini Flap bags were featured in a Plexi Acrylic finish in a bicolor pink and white, and also in dark navy. There were plenty of gold flaps this season in addition to sequin silver metallic bags. Mini flaps also appeared with heavy chain borders. Burgundy, black, silver and gold flaps were the main features colors for Fall.
