Louis Vuitton took over the City of Love, more specifically the Louvre's Passage Richelieu to showcase its Spring/Summer 2022 collection. Louis Vuitton stage was set for what Nicolas Ghesquière described in his press notes as an "grand bal of time." Ghesquière has been fascinated by this perception and how fashion intersects with it, but he also likes to double back on himself using surprising elements that give off hints at previous work without ever actually referencing any one specific thing. Louis Vuitton unveils a selection of bags from the Spring-Summer 2022 Collection including new creations and reinterpretations of iconic models. To celebrate the 200th anniversary of Monsieur Louis Vuitton, Ghesquière honors the Petite Malle, which comes in new formats such as the Petite Malle East Ouest, stretched out like a pocket. Also featured in this collection are the reimagined Coussin and Cannes Bag. Check out the rest of the collection below!
