Virgil Abloh recently unveiled his third offering for Louis Vuitton at the Place Dauphine in Paris. His latest collection takes its inspiration from boyhood, where guests even gets a do-it-yourself kite along with their invitations. The runway show also features a red bouncy castle, crepe stands, miniature Eiffel Tower toys and models holding a red balloon.
The brand's latest collection brings in a fresh and softer look, with flowers sprouting from various handbags. The Monogram pattern comes in different colors from pastels to neutrals, as well as materials ranging from leather to fabrics. The Tuffetage design which has a velour 3-D look from 2013, returns this season in the brand's Monogram Canvas and Damier patterns. New duffles bags were presented in the runway, one is a large boxy shape, while the other one features a similar look as the iconic Keepall but with a triangular shape. Abloh also goes all out on a mix of different handbags worn by a model, which also includes a big kite attached to a backpack.
